Salon Haircut Do's and Don'ts
Your hair gives you bad days? Expecting your next good hair day? Here are some very positive dos and don’ts from the hair stylist for your information.
Don’ts:
Don’t get your hair cut
while you are too emotional, because your emotions may interfere with
your decision-making, and you might go for an "impulse cut" you'll
regret later.
Don’t expect your stylist always can read your mind. If you haven’t
made up your mind, make your first appointment just for a consultation
in which you can find out the haircut that fits your needs.
Don’t expect magic happens on your hair just by one single haircut. A perfect haircut will make you look better and suit your lifestyle and personality, but it won't change your hair texture, your face or your life!
Don’t bother about the technique part. Just trust your stylist, and
remember that after you've communicated the hair cut you desired, it's
up to your stylist to carry it out.
Don’t bring your friend for your own sake, cause your stylist will be disrupted. Also, let the stylist concentrate on your haircut only.
Dos:
Do keep yourself feel relax and comfortable when you go for a haircut. A stress-free state of mind will make you easier to be communicated in case of any unexpected situation happens.
Do bring a picture of the haircut you expected or one of the favorite
looks of yourself. Sometimes, even bring pictures of what you don't
like as well. Do everything to let the stylist understand about your
taste.
Do expect a possible result with a reasonable range. A good stylist can
replicate virtually any look you want in the salon, but if your hair
texture and length aren't consenting, you'll never be able to duplicate
it at home.
Do meet up your friends after your haircut, get their reactions after your hair is done.
Do have hair cut from its natural part, so it lays to best advantage, giving it swing and pleasing movement.
